Well, it... I am not sure how to put it, but it was somewhat awkward. I think I upset him.

That's putting it mildly. But he's getting better, at least.

No. And I don't think I should be telling people even if he did. It's pretty fucking worrying sometimes.

Perhaps one day he'll have more confidence.

That's good of you, you know. I know you're way older than him in teenager years, but he doesn't really have friends his age. I wish he did.

But also that I was simply subservient to my father and would do his bidding.
